The Many Ways We Love Our Campus

CLEAN IT DON’T LEAVE IT

Through 2021 COVID safety precautions required most students to eat outside of classrooms and enclosed places. As a result, many campuses saw an unusual increase in litter, leftover food and other trash on the campus quad areas and many outside eating spaces. At times Janitors were overwhelmed with the amount of trash to remove, so officers at the Nipomo High School BStronglife Club came up with the idea of the “Clean it, don’t Leave it” campaign. BStronglife Club partnered with other clubs on campus to have students stay 10 minutes after lunch to pick up trash. Armed with a catchy campaign theme, and a cleanup plan, students quickly made a shift from “drop your garbage and forget it” to “Clean it, Don’t Leave it.”

KINDNESS WEEK ROSE GIVEAWAY & SPIRIT WEEK OUTREACH

BStronglife is always looking for ways to bless the students and campus. Every campus holds special weeks to show human kindness or campus spirit events. BStronglife has participated in various ways including giving away dozens and dozens of beautiful quality roses during Kindness Week, Giving away roses for the Senior Prom at Central Coast New Tech high school. BStronglife Club has also highlighted causes such as breast cancer awareness by giving out wristbands during the campus wear pink day at Santa Maria High School.

PROMPOSAL CONTEST & UGLY SWEATER CHRISTMAS CONTEST

BStronglife Club has held various contests over the years with handsome prizes for the winners which included covering many costs associated with going to the prom, the restaurant dinner, flowers and prom tickets. The winner and runner-up had to come up with the most creative way to invite their date to the prom. At Christmas, students competed for a chance to win a portable blue-tooth speaker by wearing the “most ugly” Christmas sweater to club.

The BStronglife holidays parties and our senior grad parties are well-known at most of our school campuses. Students enjoy pizza, churros, ice-cream floats, and a chance to win a host of gift card and other special prizes at our celebration events.
